Work hard, play hard, have fun.
This is the philosophy we live by at Fuller
Landau LLP. We seek out hard-working individuals dedicated to providing
excellent service to our clients. We believe happy employees make for satisfied
clients, and that smiles and laughter are contagious. We believe building a
workplace that promotes mutual respect and teamwork fosters an environment of
collaboration and creativity that allows team members to grow and thrive.
Fuller Landau LLP believes in promotion
from within. We look for individuals who think outside the box, and we allow
them to explore their ideas and thereby exert positive change internally. Each
team member is given the opportunity to take on more challenging assignments;
promotions are determined by performance, technical knowledge and leadership
capabilities.
Fuller Landau LLP provides an ideal
professional learning ground and a unique opportunity to join a truly winning
team.
Constructive Communication
Annual General Meeting
On a yearly basis, generally in the winter,
the firm closes its doors for a half-day so that all team members can attend
the firm’s annual general meeting. At this time, our managing partner issues
updates, including the firm’s overall performance and the targets for the
coming year. Occasionally, there are invited guests who give presentations on
current trends in the market.
TAC Committee
The Team Advisory Committee (TAC) brings
together elected team members from every department. These representatives act
as a voice for other team members and are the melting pot for everyone’s ideas
for improvement and enhancement, which are discussed in an open and friendly
environment. This newly created committee was implemented to facilitate
communication between team members and partners and ensure their ideas are
heard.
“Lunches with Mike”
Every three months a group of team members
is invited to sit down for lunch with Mike, also known as our managing partner,
Michael Newton. The lunch provides an informal setting for Mike to update our
team members on latest developments at the firm and answer any questions or
concerns team members might have. It affords team members the opportunity to
get information directly from the firm’s top decision-maker.
Community Commitment
Fuller Landau LLP’s partners and team
members are directly involved in numerous non-profit organizations in the
Greater Montreal area. Community involvement is strongly encouraged at Fuller
Landau LLP and we regularly hold events to help these worthy causes, especially
those in which our employees play an active role.
For example, every Friday during tax season
we hold “Jeans Days” in order to raise money for charitable organizations such
as the Cedar’s Cancer Institute and the “Fédération québécoise de l’autisme”. Also,
during the holiday season, we raffle prizes donated by Fuller Landau LLP to
raise money for various charities, most recently the Quebec Cystic Fibrosis
Association.
